
ACG Norton College students visited the Auckland Museum in March, a visit that requires students to undertake a number of observations, peers conversations and written activities as part of their study in the AUT University Certificate in Foundation Studies. The students, accompanied by their teachers, spent several hours discovering more about the indigenous culture of Aotearoa, including an interactive haka and poi performance. New Zealand as well as learning about New Zealand history and geography.
The students completed their trip with lunch at the Museum café to discuss their observations and data, followed by a game of touch rugby and catch the ball on one of the many magnificently positioned fields surrounding the Museum.
